We checked into a king room in the Platinum Tower at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Biloxi — and that arrival alone made the trip feel like it had started.
The room
The Platinum Tower king felt trendy. The music we’d requested when we booked was already playing when we walked in — a small touch that always makes check-in feel special. The rooms are starting to show a little wear, but they’re still nice and comfortable for a Gulf Coast weekend.
Perhaps our favorite detail is the switch-controlled blinds — close them for privacy, or leave them open so you can shower with a Gulf view and watch for dolphins.
Bath
Double vanity, rainfall shower, and that glass Hard Rock vibe — with the blinds open, the Gulf view carries through.
Pool deck
We popped down to the casino for a bit of gambling, then headed out to the pool. That Hard Rock pool deck is an easy place to lose an afternoon — palms, lounge chairs, and a swim-up bar that keeps you from wandering too far.
Casino
Downstairs you’ve got a decent stretch of newer slots, and Tito’s Vodka is poured complimentary while you play (instead of Absolut or Stoli). The blackjack tables use hand-dealt shoes rather than continuous shufflers, which we prefer. The restaurants are fine — Ruth’s Chris is the best we’ve enjoyed there.
Location and vibe
You’re right in the Biloxi casino corridor — easy access to the floor downstairs, the beach nearby, and a short hop to places like Adventures Pub. It’s energetic, music-forward, and built for a fun night in as much as a pool day out.
Who it’s for
Hard Rock Biloxi is a strong pick if you want a trendy room, that signature check-in music moment, and a pool deck you’ll actually use. If you can split a Biloxi trip, we’d do Hard Rock for this energy and Beau Rivage for the bigger elegant resort feel.
